Drivers for Acer Aspire M1640

Maybe the Vista drivers will do. If the Win & drivers are not listed, then more than likely the vista drives are compatible.

you will need to reinstall windows.

It is an problem with hard disk please change it

Format the drive, then install an operating system such as xp, or windows 7 .... it should install most of the correct drivers. You may have to go to the manufactures website to find the exact drivers for the video and sound cards., but that should pretty much return it to factory settings. If you are really picky and have the bucks, you can contact ACER for the original disks.

Cet Acer a un disque dur SATA - XP ne peut le reconnaitre pendant l'installation sans le driver, Tu peut le trouver ici (avec tout les autres)

Decompresse-le e brule-le sur un cd - quand (pendant la installation) tu sera questionne de lui met le dans le lecteur.

yes but you will have to reinstall all the acer **** you got with the pc originally and also windows as it wont jst play due to hardware change

I hope its not Vista os, because if the driver is not in its database, it does not accept any new driver. Install XP first and run the Vista Upgrade adviser from microsoft to check whether your PC hardware will run Vista....sodeep

If you are install xp to a computer that had vista or has a sata hard drive.The SATA drivers must be loaded during setup.If this is not the case,Please post back with more details.
