If you have a white line on screen---middle that runs left to right it is a vertical circuit problem.

This can be a easy repair: The set uses a chip---usually 7-13 pins in a straight line package-----a lot of these sets the solder from heat breaks loose and all that is needed is to resolder the pins on that chip.

A hint: usually a good solid rap on the top or side will in this case try to make the picture open up.

You need to be able to get to the part and solder.

How do i program a panosonic video cassettee recorder model pv-7450 using the front buttons cause i lost the remonte

Unfortunately, you can not do a programmed recording with the PV-7450 without the remote. You can do a one-touch (current channel/time) recording. To do this, use the channel buttons to select the desired channel and make sure that a tape with the record tab is in the VCR. Then press Rec/Time (the right-most button) several times to select the recording length. Press Stop to end the recording.

To do a programmed recording, you need the Prog button on the remote. (You may be able to find a universal remote that matches the function if you try enough of the codes for Panasonic VCRs.) There is no matching button on the VCR front-panel.

This is shown in the manual for the Panasonic Omnivision PV-7450, https://www.manualslib.com/manual/305336/Panasonic-Omnivision-Pv-7200.html#product-Omnivision%20PV-7450 . See page 16 for the One-time recording feature. See page 18 for timed recording. I wish that I had better news for you.

Need remote code to control a Panasonic Omnivision VHS PV-M2079 TV/VCR combination

You need to program the VCR (which turns the sey on/off) as an aux, then program any Panasonic TV type for TV, and then set the STB button to control STB, TV and AUX and you should be set.
