restore your computer to a specific date.
go to control panel
then click on recovery and open system restore
then hit next
then choose the date (the computer will restore itself to that date so choose the date on which ur sound works before.

When a laptop starts to get very hot, its usually due to the airways between the fan and the outside being full of dust.

You could buy a cooling bay, but i recommend you take the laptop to a local computer store to perform a cleaning of the same airways.

If this is a Sylvania Netbook running Win CE 6 it is possible that the operating system simply doesn't have a driver for Virgin Mobile cellphone.

The only way I have been able to connect to the internet is via Wifi or a LAN cable plugged into the back. I doubt you will get any other method to work.

Please note the Wifi can be via a Wifi access point on your cellphone, a portable, mobile hotspot that connects via a USB modem or any other functional Wifi access point.

Have you checked that the wireless switch has been switched on it should be visable somewhere on or around the key board or on the front or side of the laptop some you have to press and some you have to slide to activate it
