Please boot the computer on to Safemode and change the resolution. To do so,
1. Turn Off the computer
2. Keep on tapping "F8" key as soon as you hit the Power button
3. From the menu use arrows keys to select Safemode and hit enter.

Well, in case someone is still finding the answer. This game needs the EmulateDirectDrawSync ACT fix.
Install the attached *.sdb file (with sdbinst) then try again.
Tested with Win10.
Steps:
1. Install the game from the setup.exe file as an admin
2. Download de .sdb file named Hardball6.sdb

If your wireless you probably need to change broadcast channels on the router ( to the last channel) if its hard wired, you probably need to port forward the ip address for the Xbox

You must install the expansion packs in a semi-fluid order. That is, there was an order they were released and for best results, you should install them in the same order.

The above site is the order of the expansions. Keep in mind, it starts at the top and goes down (oldest at top, newest at bottom). You must use the latest most expansion pack's disc to play. That means, if the last expansion pack you have is "Seasons", you will need to use that disc to play the game.

Due to copyright laws, I'll be unable to assist you in how to play the game without the need of the discs but in essence, the above information will at least get the game installed with the expansions in the proper order. You and your friend may just be unable to play the game at the same time.

Might need more free memory or your sound & Graphic card are not supporting this game. Before you download any aplication from any website make sure your computer meets the reguirements, Such as Operating system, sound and Graphic card and make sure you have enough Ram space to run the software.

If u just reason with your xbox 360. just keep reseting it several times eventually it will work. kinda a stupid solution. but when you want to play saints row 2 u need to play it!

If other games work fine on it, then the problem is with the game. If it is new, I would try to exchange it. If it is a used game, I have found that some of the used game stores can buff/resurface the disk for a small fee. The place I use charges $3.00 per disk. They can fix computer games and DVDs and all kinds of games.
