Unable to download games on my computer and if it is a driver issue unable to find a free driver for it

same problem here trying to download games with the 3 free v coins im lucky enough i got one but cant get anymore couldnt get into download centre at all lastnight i put it down to being busy with everyone trying to get the games

Here is something you can try for now:
Many games provide an option to be started in "window"-mode instead of fullscreen.
Open a terminal, cd to the directory where the game is installed and start it from there, but append "--help" behind the command name (or "-h" if that didn't work)! Keep an eye open for an option that looks as if it starts the game in window-mode.

Go to this website: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_lite_codec_pack.htm And download the K_lite codec pack full. This should contain all of the drivers you need to play DVDs. Install it using all of the normal settings and then restart your computer and try again.

Have you defragged the computer within 30 days?
if not, do so.
Does your "C" drive (HDD) have more than 15% of disc space left? if not, get it back to a minimun of 15%.
Do not use the computer while defragging.

This error message indicates that the game server which you are attempting to connect to is unable to contact the Steam Authentication Servers.
Please observe the following process to determine whether the error is a result of a Steam outage, issues with the game server connecting to the Steam Authentication Servers, or an issue with your internect connection.

1. Try joining several different game servers - if you are able to connect to a different game server, there is an issue with the game server which reported the Server Verification Failed error
2. If you are not able to connect to any game servers, check the Steam Status page - if the Steam Players and Game Servers graph shows a very sharp decline in players, there may be a temporary Steam outage
3. If there does not appear to be an outage, check your connection to the Steam Authentication Servers through the Steam client:
   1. From the main Steam window select File then Settings
   2. Select the Internet tab
   3. At the bottom of the window, confirm that Steam is reporting the Steam has successfully connected to the authentication servers. message
4. If Steam reports that you are not connected to the authentication servers, please exit and restart Steam and, if you are unable to connect to the Steam Authentication Servers upon logging back in and you have confirmed that there is not an outage, please see the Router and Router Firmware Issues topic to ensure the issue is not related to router firmware which is incompatible with Steam

You turn error reporting off.

You need Administer privileges to do this.

1) Right click My Computer
2) Click on the Advanced Tab
3) At the bottom right of the resulting property sheet click on Error Reporting
4) Select Disable Error Reporting and deselect 'but notify me, etc.'

This is a persistent setting unless you "Reinstall your OS" in that case you will need to do steps 1-4 again.

Restart your system.

You should be able to run the game at any configuration you want. Take a look at the settings in the game to see if it sends you error messages but I bet you've done this already.

As always make sure you are using the latest set of drivers, not Beta, for your Display Adapter.
