How can I thread a fishing reel?

I will assume it's a spinning reel, and then you may have several methods. You can tie a slipping knot on the line, open the pickup, slip your knot on the reel spool, tighten it, and then reel in. A more efficient way may be to install your reel on the rod, first pass your line through the first guide, and then do the same things. Tie a knot on the spool, with the pickup open, and reel in. Now when you reel in, I can suggest you to do this in a bucket of freshwater, as it will tighten your line with no efforts, and the line spool will not jump all over the place.

How do i replace fuel filter on mcculloch mb3201

you will have to get a coat hanger or small wire to fish the fuel pick up or filter from the fuel tank. once you fish it out hold fuel line in one hand and remove the filter with your other. be careful not to let the fuel line go because without the filter on it's harder to fish out again. install new filter on the line and put back in tank. your lines should be firm. Not hard and not squishy. if not firm replace. this could also be part of your problem if the line is being sucked in due to pressure restricting fuel flow

I just noticed that my fish tank air pump broke. How long can the fish survive with a broken pump?

As long as you have an air filter, your fish will befine. Just like pumps, the air filtersmove air around and oxygenate the water. The air pump is superfluous. If you do decide to purchase another pump, please see thisvideo on how to install it properly:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gTnfXgmMTxY

I have a Ryobi spinning reel SX4N,in excellent shape. Ineed to know how the springs go onthe bail to makr it work. Thanks

With the new line threaded through all of the fishing rod's eyelets, open the bail. You open the bail by pulling it over across the spool, until it locks in an open position. Tie the line in a knot around the reel's spool, and loosely wrap the line around the spool at least 7 to 8 times, then pull slowly on the line, to tighten the line that is wrapped around the spool.
Holding the box or spool of fishing line between your feet, so that it will remain close to you, start reeling in your casting rod. When you start reeling it in, the bail automatically closes, and makes the line wrap onto the spool properly. Reel the new line in until the spool is about 75% full, or to the lines marked inside the reel's spool. Cut the new line about 8 feet from the outer-most eyelet of your fishing rod.
Hope this solution has been helpful?

I have a shakespeare sigma fishing reel that tangles up when I cast it, any solutions

The line needs to installed on the reel as it is on the new spool when purchased. Also check spool drag. If it is a spinning reel it is important to install the string correctly and use a quality brand of string.

Penn Spin Reel will not lock after casting

On the front of the spool there is a device to turn to set the drag. Torn it tighter and tighten it until slightly below the breaking point of your fishing line. It isn't a critical adjustment, it just keeps your line from breaking while trying to land a fish.
