If this is the machine you have, that BIG horizontal lever on the right is the reverse lever. You must have some sort of electronic reverse mechanism that is externally mounted. You need to post info on that mechanism.

Juki LU-562 I heard a clunck and the bottom walking foot doesn't work right .

Hello, I have a different model Juki but it sounds to me that your safety clutch has been tripped. The safety clutch functions when an excessive load is applied to the hook or the other components during sewing. At this time, the hook will not rotate even if turning the handwheel. When the safety clutch has functioned, remove the cause and reset the safety clutch by pressing and holding the push button on the top surface of the machine bed, while strongly turning the handwheel in the reverse direction of rotation. The resetting procedure is completed when the handwheel clicks.

Comunication error

Hi,

At first turn the machine off, and then press the start button, reverse button and auto lock button at the same time.

-Turn the machine back on while still pushing the three buttons. After the machine has powered on, release the buttons.

-Press the + sign at the bottom of the screen, continue pressing each + sign as it appears. The machine will display a "Test Complete" message, turn off your machine.

-Wait 5 to 10 seconds before powering your machine back on, your machine will run through a diagnostic test and repair any issues it finds.

If this doesn't work;

Have you set up communication is to the "COM Port" designation within Customizer/Digitizer.

Go to >ScanCard >Communication Settings > choose the COM Port you want to use (find out what COM port the cable's using by going to your Start/task Bar in Windows>Control Panel >System >Hardware >Device Manager >Ports (COM & LPT).
There, you should be able to see what port your cable's using.

Hope this helps

Trouble shooting a Singer Athena touchtronic 2000 Sewing machine I have a Singer Athena touchtronic 2000 Sewing machine. The light comes on but the needle will not move when you step on the foot pedal. ...

Yes it's true, most parts are not available for this machine anymore. You might try to push the red reset button on the bottom of the machine. Also make sure that the reset button is not being depressed by anything that the machine is sitting on, and that the reset button pushes in and out freelyl.

Stop and start button and the needle up and down button

have you tried turning it off & then back on again.see if it resets itself.
if that doesn't work see if one of the buttons are hung, if so push on it dislodges. if it's new & none of these things work then I suggest you take it back because the circuit board is mal-functioning.

Not making stitch

a.gif Dear Joan,

On the top of the machine there is a button. Push the button while turning the handwheel toward you. When the button drops into the machine, you are ready to adjust the length. Keep holding the button in the machine and turn the handwheel forwards or backwards, noting the numbers on the inside of the handwheel. Turning the handwheel to the back decreases the size of the stitch, and turning the handwheel forward decreases the size of the stitch. Release the button and then begin to s

Changing the language

Turn on your machine. The SET tab is the fifth from the left (or second from the right). Touch that.
You now need to touch the More button, which is on the bottom row and is the button on the left hand side (there are two buttons at the bottom - More and OK).
On the next page that comes up, the LANGUAGE select button is the single orange button at the bottom of the list. The two buttons at the very bottom are once again More and OK, so go above them to the single orange button. Each time you press this, the language changes. There are quite a lot to scroll through, but keep pushing it until English comes up again.
That should fix your machine for you. No suggestions on how to fix your husband, though!

Hole width

After putting on the buttonhole foot, you lower the foot, put in the size button you want into the button hole foot. Lower the button hole lever all the way (so machine does not blip) Then the machine automatically sets the length and width of the button hole...you can adjust the length and width manually by pushing the button on the top right hand part of the machine above the LED screen the top one is stich length the other is stich width....if you put the levers to the left it will be the smallest stich length or width...if to the right it will be the largest stich length or width the machine allows. But, really the machine automatically does this for you...so I don't see the need to do it.....but you can....BBill01
