I have the SGH-i617 and got it unlocked. I am not sure if the same code can be used for the i607 - but here it is, give it a try:-
#0111*59428207# or just put in 59428207, you have to do this with sim in.

PLACE BATTERY BACK IN AND THEN TURN PHONE ON.
NOW PRESS: #7465625*638*75297038# (THIS WILL BRING UP NUK BOX)(NETWORK UNLOCK KEY)
THEN PRESS IN: 75297038

IF DONE CORRECTLY IT WILL SAY SYSTEM UNLOCKED.
NOW PLACE ANY SIM FROM ANY CARRIER AND ENJOY....

1. Go to Application
2. Go to Java world
3. Go to My games ( or the folder for new applications)
4. Go to where you have your Opera Mini
5. Click options and scroll to settings
6. Select your prefered config. setting
7. Edit and mark where you have "Proxy"
8. Underneath input the IP and Port
9. Go to Advanced settings to check wheather APN, User ID and Password are intact.
10. Save and Activate.
