There are 2 catches in the front corners about an inch in take a putty knife and push in to release the top. Also take out the 2 screws under the lint filter. Lift up the top. You should see the belt or not. Belt there pull on it to see if it isn't broke. Belt not there broken belt. To replace belt need to take of the front panel. 2 screws in the cabinet top corners. Take them out then front will come forward then you need to lift it up off some little catches on the bottom. Then you should be able to see where the belt goes.

The dryer turns on and heats up but the drum will not turn. the belt is on but I can pull it up about 6 inches. Why won't it work?
Your belt has slipped off of the idler pulley or the spring that puts tension on the idler pulley bracket is broken or came off of the bracket.

Does not dry my clothes well and only had it 28 days
check your filter[clean if dirty]-check & seeif your vent is plugged-check to see if the vent doors outside the house open when dryer is on -[also maybe proppeler might have become stuck or loose, it sounds like a plugged vent problem.

Changing belt on my dryer
I am not familiar with this particular dryer, but all electric dryers are designed so that the consumer can replace the belt. Open the access door ( the back, the top, or the removable panel at the bottom front) and the belt should be visible; a few minutes of study will show you what you need to do to change it.
