I put a dvd in and it sais loading, loading, loading but will not play the dvd
SOURCE: Cant play anything on it
I had the same problem, After googling for a few minutes I found the reset procedure for this player.
1. Turn it on.
2. Eject any disk you have in there and close the tray.
3. Hold down the "STOP" button on the player (not remote) until the green light flashes red and the system reboots.
4. Insert disk and enjoy.
This worked for me... mileage may vary.

Sorry, no suggestion other than don't buy Samsung. That's my conclusion after owning the same model. It worked fine for a while, but now won't load any DVD... usually. Sometimes it will play one, but more often it won't. Mine tries to load ("Loading") for a long time, I hear the DVD spinning, then ultimately the screen displays "This disc cannot be played" or something to that effect.

This is a known problem with the DVP3020.
I am assuming that your lens cleaner is for CD as well.
Although identical, CDs & DVDs store data completely differently, which means DVD players need two lasers to read both formats.
It sounds like the DVD laser has failed on your player, which is why it will still play your lens cleaner.
Unfortunately the cost of replacing the laser outweighs the value of the player.
The DVP3020 has been replaced by the DVP3120 which is far more reliable.
The DVP3120 with a multi-region modification can be bought for £17.99 from CheapestElectrical.

If it does it with all discs then the player is dying. If it is just the one disc I would say it is a bad disc. You can also see if there is dirt or grease or fingerprints on the laser pickup lens.
Cheers

Sounds very much like you have a either a dirty laser, or a laser unit failure. Put a cleaning disc through the machine, and see if it improves. If not, then you need to either have a new laser fitted, or a new machine.
