I've got a 27 inch and my problem is similar, with one exception: I can't get a picture on any of the VIDEO inputs, but do have normal TV as far as I can tell? Are they on two separate cards? If so, does it sound like I lost the card and is it worth replacing?

Could also be faulty Power supply. If Proper 110 V is not generetaed by SMPS, the above symptoms appear.

Video card went out in the tv. You are saying you need a schematic. Be real careful getting into tvs. They have very large capacitating capacitators in them that can electrocute you. You need to take it to a repair specialist and have them run a check on it. Sounds like the video card to me though.

I didn't look up the model to see if its a LCD or LED, if its an LED it sounds like you have some lamps going out, try turning down the backlight settings and see if that helps

Sony wega 28 inch colours wrong, circle on screen

It sounds that there is some magnet near by TV that is affecting picture tube. Please remove any extra speaker or any thing that has strong magnet inside, unplug TV for 20-30 minutes, replug back in, turn it ON, hope that will solve your TV problem.
Thanks.

Audio is ok but no picture sony kv-32xbr450

Its an issue with the digital processing board. Turn off the TV for sometime and let it cool. Then check. If you still face the same issue, get the digital processing board repaired.

Thanks

Sony KV 20S40 20" tv flutters, reduces in size and then shuts off

The set most probably has cracked solder joints in one of the deflection circuits, which is pretty common. The picture tube and major components are fine. A good tech can quickly resolder the main board and that should not cost too much. If your set came into my shop I would charge about $50 but ask around, the shops in your area will vary.

Sony 27"TV will not turn on

The picture tube on your tv is dead, you need to replace it. It probably will be worthing just purchasing a new set, because the cost of repairing it will be close to the purchase of a new one.

Red-Orange Screen

If the screen flashed when the TV made a popping sound, then I would suspect an intermittent heater to cathode short in the picture tube. When this happens, it usually takes out one to three output IC packs located on the CRT drive board. Even if you replaced the defective output packs which are soldered in and attached to metal heat sinks to restore the picture, the CRT could short again and redo the damage. For a 20 inch screen it is probably not worth repairing.

Sony KV 35S45 Status light blinks, but no picture.

I think the set is worth repairing,it appear it has a loose conection and a few other, as well as overheated areas witch will need to be resoldered to prevent any other problems,if you are familiar with tv service you could check the horizontal drive and output circuits,if you are not too familiar with tv's be safe and call for assiatnce from a servicer. To correcthis problem it should not be too expensive.
