VSX-918V HDMI sound not working - Pioneer VSX-918V Receiver

The audio OUTPUT of blu-ray dvd is to INPUT to the VSX-918V-K receiver.There are three RCA jack red and white is the audio,the yellow or blue sometimes for the video connect to your TV...

DON'T FORGET TO RATE;

SOURCE: Pioneer VSX-918V-K Standby Light Flashes but will not turn on.

unplug it and press the power buton and then hold the power button, and while your holding the power button, plug it back in

hope it worked!!!

All I can suggest is to completely reset the receiver back to factory standard settings. Please do the following -

While holding down the Advanced Surround button, press and hold the standby/on button for at least 3 seconds. The display should show "RESET?". Then press " ST - ". "OK?" will then show in the display. Press Sound Retriever button to confirm.

The receiver should display "OK" to show that it has been reset.

If this method does not work then it is more than likely it will need a specialist repair unfortunately.
