The Depth & temp come from two different sensors. Check your coax cable to the transducer (the lager oval piece), the connector, and the transducer for cracks /breaks in insulation. Good luck.

SOURCE: wire on depth finder has been piched, can tou

Yes, you can. I have done it several times. Keep the separated wires fairly short. You can pick the braided (shield) wire apart with a pin or such.

SOURCE: My furuno depth finder gives me crazy depth

Turbulence on the transducer is almost certain. If transom mounted, **** it slightly deeper aft and ensure that the leading edge is not exposed. If through hull, call me 847-746-0100

SOURCE: My depth finder loses its depth reading at about

You need to set the transducer lower. When at speed, the hull of the ship raises up out of the water and hence your transducer is probably not deep enough at these times to give a proper reading.

SOURCE: my Furuno reads 3.5 feet

There is a keel offset or waterline offset that can be entered in the menus. Press "MENU" + go to "DRAFT", use right arrow to enter menu, change using up and down, the press "MENU" when done. Note that "DRAGHT" is on PAGE TWO(2)!! of the main menu. John 847-746-0100 technicalmarine.com

I HAVE A HUMMING BIRD DEPTH FINDER, MODEL HDR610. I WOULD LIKE TO HOOK IT UP TO MY IH HAUL TRANSPONDER. IT IS A COAX CABLE. THE NEW HUMMINGBIRD IS A THREE WIRE CONNECTOR --CAN THIS BE DONE??

Hello
It is not possible to connect. Out three wires comes from Humming Bird, Black one is Negative, Red one is for 12VDC supply and the other is for buzzer. So it cannot be connected with Coax-Cable. OK.

Hi can anyone tell me what batteries too use in a Humminbird LCR2000?

According to its manual, the Hummingbird LCR2000 takes a 12V battery.
If your boat does not have such a battery, use an Internet search (such as Google) to look for "12V lantern battery" to find a battery that will power your depth finder.
[NOTE: If this was useful, please leave me feedback.]

Depth finder comes on then goes off

It sounds like some power saver feature on the battery or in the unit. Check with hummingbird, they should have an 800#.
