Washer dryer ive just bought a hotpoint washer dryer aquarius wdl520 but cant find the instructions and dont know how to use the timer if there is one what do i do?

hi if you are getting no power at all and fuse in plug good i would check interlock that is were door locks in next is control panel usually interlock is cause

In menu on left, click on---HOTPOINT USER MANUALS.

Then in the search box enter your model number and download instructions.

Remove rear cover of washer.
Locate and remove large black hose on bottom of drum, remove and clean filter inside hose.

check the hotpoint web site some manuals available

There should be a small door at the front bottom of the machine, open it and unscrew the plunger. try that first as there could be a blockage.

The machine will not spin until the water is drained out.

It's more than likely its the door lock, if not check the timer contacts on the top front connection block, if they have blown it will need a timer & door lock

The first usually is for the softener liquid, which has a small window also for the liquid to mix and go down. The second is usually for the main wash (use front loading powders), and the last is for pre-wash, etc. And dont forget to RATE me.
