If you can get into the bios, you should be able to tell your system which drive(s) to boot from.

Did you try hitting the F12 or F8 key after start-up, and see if the boot-menu comes up, and that the CD is a boot-able CD

either your moitor went out ? or your video card? try hooking it up to a monitor that you know that works, if it boots up you need a monitor ! if it doesn't then you need a video card ! hope this helps !

Short the BIOS or remove the internal battery and replace after a couple of min and set everything in BIOS settings to default............sodeep
