Why does my nissan pathfinder 2016 not acceletate when I pull out into traffic? Give it asec. And press gas again and it runs fine

Does your brake pedal feel low or sink? lose fluid? Brakes may be locking up with leaking bks or air the system. If so, repair the leak,
Refill the brake fluid & bleed the air from the system from each wheel. Then top off the fluid when u get a good solid pedal. OR u may have a vacuum leak causing a disturbance to your acceleration & emissions.

Firing order

I have been asked many time for diagrams for a 1994 chevy suburban K1500 I thought it would be helpful to post them on tips and tricks so it could be more accessible to everybody.
Firing Orders
To help out. As you take off one wire to replace it. mark the wire with some tape so you can easily identify were it went. You may also want to look at the diagrams below and look at how your vehicle and make sure that someone else has not by accident switched a wire on the engine.

How do i install brake light switch on 98 dodge neon?

  1. Remove lower steering column cover and knee blocker panel from instrument panel.
  2. With the brake pedal fully pressed, rotate the stop lamp switch counter clockwise 27 degrees and remove switch from the mounting bracket.< Just turn Count clockwise until you feel it unlock from its previous location, then pull it towards you>
  3. Disconnect wire connector from stop lamp switch by depressing the lock tabs holding stop lamp switch to mounting bracket and remove switch.

Its recommended to have someone push the brake pedal for you, can be tough to push it while trying to get his out.

  1. Connect the harness connector to the stop lamp switch.
  2. While pressing the brake pedal, insert switch into the keyed hole in the bracket and rotate the switch into the locked position.
  3. Gently pull back on the brake pedal until the pedal will go no further. This will cause the switch plunger to ratchet backward to the correct position. No further adjustment is necessary.

Brake light comes on - even when the key is out and the the car is stoped. I´m worryed that the it will some day drain all the power from the bettery.

hi from uk from symtom you describe this is a fault with brake light switch just try this 1st ? have someone watch brake lights while you pull brake pedal up if lights go off ? then simple remedy look at pedal just below its pivot shaft you will see a switch with plug attached with two wires this switch has a plunger that when pedal pressed plunger moves out to put b/lights on then lights go off when pedal is off as it pushes plunger back and breaks the circuit to adjust this just pull off plug from switch then with pedal pressed off switch you simply rotate the switch a full rotation screw clockwise then refit plug now plunger should be fully back and so lights off ? if nt repeat above once more till lights off lights will go off this is trial+error adjustment till lights operate on with pedal down 1/2 inch brake lights on! hope you understand above this is not unusual fault as switch plunger is plastic and so wears ?

95 tercel tail lights won't turn off

Stoplights are usually turned on by a switch mounted above the brake pedal. When the pedal is fully released, it presses on the switch and it breaks the circuit. When you press the pedal, it releases the switch and the circuit completes, turning on the lights.

Most likely cause of this is that the switch is either broken or misaligned.

Adjust the switch to be depressed when the pedal is up. If the lights turn off, you're done.

If this does not fix it, unplug the switch from the wiring harness. If this makes the lights go off, your switch is broken, buy a new one. If it does not, you have a short circuit in the wiring. You will need to trace the harness, find the damage and repair it by splicing or replacing the harness.

May be you could try these steps:
  1. 1 Check the brake-pedal switch. This small button behind the brake pedals is activated when you press down on the brake pedal and makes the brake light go on. Press the switch by hand to see if it's stuck. If it is, pressing it may force the stuck part.
  2. Step 2 Find the fuse for the brake light and pull it out. Remember to put it back in before driving again
  3. Step 3 Find the brake lightbulbs and remove them. Remember to put them back in before driving again.
  4. Step 4 Disconnect the negative battery cable. You will have to reconnect it again to start and drive your car.
