If you have a 2011 model Zapp Xtra seat unit the bumper bar is not suitable to use on it.
The bumper bar accessory is only suitable for 2012 model Zapp Xtra seat unit onward. On the back of the seat unit there is a manufacturing sticker which shows date of production, which will tell you if your seat is suitable for using bumper bar accessory.
The clips on the standard Zapp fabric for it to be inserted into the chassis and attached correctly are not available as separate spare part items. It would be a case of replacing the seat fabric.
The Zapp raincover is held at the top of the pushchair with velcro ties so make sure these are done up properly and then stretch the raincover over the seat unit and around the bottom and the elastic section should then hold the raincover firmly in place.
this is very fun start with the bottom section pushing along to the side untill it comes away from its groove (will take alot of hard effort) start pulling the rest of the seat fabric towards the handles slowly but surely this will come off dont woory that you pulling it a little strong they are made to take the weight of a four year old child just a little hint if you want o get the seat cover back on you should start folding the pram downmid way through it saves a lot of stress and makes it easier to put back on x
Hi Pimms. I struggled with this too. At the bottom of the stroller you'll be able to move the material that is attached to the bottom of the frame. It slides out if you are forceful enough. Then you'll see if you look at the back of the pram four tabs with domino numbers on them. These are attached to plastic bits that fit into the frame - when pulled out - you can pull off the stroller seat - with much pulling! Good luck!
- place the quinny zapp in the halp open position
-unfasten the hooks
-slide the coverstops over the groove
-loosen the covers at the foot end and the cover should come off.
no not in the least.... just download the manual for that zapp thingy and or even a new one should do... because it is for carrying a baby, when they find a good and safe design they don't often change it. if you cannot find what you are after please let me know i'll download the manual and try and explain it to you.... i'll need the model number again tho
There are two blackclips on the top inside handles pull these gently to loosen the seat cover. Then repeat on the bottom. You will also have to unbutton the back of the seat (there are two black straps) then half fold the buggy and pull the seat towards you. Its a bit niggly and frustrating but does eventually come off.
I have a maxi cosi car seat, the harness is too tight and can't extend any more. I can't fit my 2 month old into it that's how tight it is, any suggestions would be appreciated
