Zanussi iz16s door does not lock once programme has started i have chage the door lock sytem it clicks and light comes on but the door will still open any ideas ?

E40 is a door lock fault code, you need to replace the door lock,
you cannot reset the fault code, this happens automatically when the fault is rectified. nice easy job though.

E41 means door open or the machine is not able to lock the door
(door delay interlock does not close after 15 seconds).
Possible causes:
door open, door delay interlock, wiring, main PCB.

Is the door shutting at all or is it just not clicking shut , there is a pressure switch / electronic switch on the door catch mounted on the machine main body which prevents machine running if the door is not shut correctly.

Have you taken the filter out at the front of the washer and cleaned it. Mine wouldn't drain but once I did that it worked ok.

I have a zanussi jetsystem iz16s and it keeps pausing just after its filled up with water and coming up e20 (I think thats the error code) any ideas what the problem might be.

try replacing the door interlock first

Check the water level pressure chamber for a partial blockage, this can cause all sorts of problems.

It's normal on this machine. Mainwash programms always starts with a short draining after the door has been locked.

Zanussi's always keep clicking before starting.I don't know what E60 is about,but I take it the machine is working?
