How to replace belt tentioner - 2005 Dodge Neon

Hello! The serpentine belt tensioner assembly is mounted on the engine mount plate. None of the fasteners that hold either the pulley or tensioning arm itself are accessible with the mount plate in the vehicle, so it must be removed...Once you have the engine mount plate removed, you may begin to remove the pulley..The pulley is held onto the tensioner by a torx bolt. Once the bolt is removed, the pulley can be lifted right up and off of the shaft it is seated on..See photo below...

35 dollars ?? for the jockey wheel ,i pay around 12 euros plus tax for one of these but i think you mean the whole the spring loaded tensioner as no doubt its making a banging noise but use a stethascope as sometimes this noise can the be the autobox pump and its very difficult to diagnose correctly
