I would leave it overnight. That small a charger will have to work hard to charge the battery. Replace battery and save yourself battery problems in the future.
A Battery Tender will not charge a battery. They will maintain a "Charged" battery. Typically, if you put it on a low battery it will stay low of charge. Try cleaning the battery terminals and charge the battery, then turn the Battery Tender on.
You don't. If your battey is running low than run your car. A 2009 should not have a battery that is running low on charge. If the battery is not being charged by the charging system than bring the car back to the dealer from which you purchased it.
The fully charged battery voltage should be 12 volts. If its low then car will have starting problems. If there is no voltage then car will not start. In case if there is no voltage to the battery, then either is dead/faulty battery or the battery is drained. If it shows no voltage or low voltage, then get you battery charged at local car garage.

If its not getting charged at car garage then battery is faulty and it has to be replaced.------------This will help. Thanks . Helpmech.
Take your battery to your local auto parts dealer and they should charge for free..Though, assuming battery is low on acid, you will have to puchase battery acid and fill yourself prior to charge depending on whether you have a sealed battery or a refillable battery..The auto parts store should also let you know if its holding a charge..generally takes 24 hrs (trickle charge) depending on how they charge it. my car battery took 30 min. Refilled my hyosung battery with appropriate battery acid and turned out bad battery. I probably ruined by jumping it off while low on acid.
my first ting to check would be battery, as since it is occurring when it sits for a while, then this would be the most likely source as the alternator charges the battery amd since the battery is low on charge, then this also causes the low idle
If it's telling you charge is low, it's probably telling you the battery is low
You may have a charging system problem or a bad battery. I see the car is only two years old but, I've seen batteries fail right away it's not out of the question. I would get it to a shop and have the battery and charging system checked. As far as the air bags go, there may be a problem there, that is draining the battery. A bad battery will make these newr cars do all kinds of strange things, I guess I'd start with the battery.
connect the garmin to your computer using the usb port. It will start charging then. For some reason when the battery goes dead in this unit the only way to charge it is with computer. the car adaptor will not work once the battery gets real low.
Check the big battery cable on the starter and make sure its not touching metal anywhere. Did you get sparks at any point during your job. Check the fuse links...pull on them make sure they are intact
