I have had 2 prevails and swore not to get another, but boost only replaces what you have. I had this problem and had to return the phone. Not fixable.

i have the galaxy prevail and it had been to where it wouldn't charge at all then i thought i had fixed the problem because it charged last night but tonight its not wanting to charge at all and im using the same cord and i have tried 4 different cords and none of them charged it
can anyone suggest something that'll help?

try and change ur battery and see if it works
