I have a Sharp television and a Sony RM-V202 universal remote. I also have comcast cable with a Motorola cable box. The remote is programmed to the TV but the problem is it only goes through like 5 channels. It isn't recognizing the cable and so it does not let me access the like 100 cable channels or whatever it is I have. It is stuck on basic TV. What do I need to do? I have tried programming the remote to the CBL/SAT button but it does not work.

while pressing SET botton press POWER, and release them ,then press CH+,then release it
Then press POWER repeatedly untill your device responds.don't go too fast.
When it responds press ENTER to store the code.

Press SET and POWER button at the same time, press TV,press and release the CH+ button,then press and release the POWER button, each time you press CH+ and POWER button a code is entered. Keep trying until the TV goes Off. It may take 70 trys, when it does turn off press ENT.button to save code. hope this helps..
