If you are using any form of Anti Virus software, it could be stopping the installation process. Go to the SUN Java website, and download the latest version. Save it to your desktop. Take a moment to reboot your machine completely. DO NOT start any other programs after rebooting. Stop or disable your ANTI VIRUS software. Install the JAVA update and reboot. The update should work, and upon rebooting after the install, your AV software should start again. If it is still disabled, enable it.

Hi, I am a software engineer by profession. Well a software is a collection of many programs that combined to give a full functionality. Aprogram is a small part of a software. And a software is not only the program, it contains a full set of processes and document, testing. You can build a software yourself but it will take some time and effort.

As i understand you receive an error when you run the installed program.

Please uninstall the complete downloaded software and reboot the PC. Then download the latest Java JRE (Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 Update 7) to run all Java programs from the link given below,
http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp

Once you have installed the Java JRE, again install the program and test if it works.

It will work!!
