When I turn on my projector, the green power light comes on and the fan turns on for a split second and turns off then nothing happens. The bulb is fairly new maybe 1/2 lifetime.
I have same problem. The green light comes on but my fan and lamp don't. I cleaned the filter but still nothing. I would buy a lamp but with the fan not coming on either, I don't know if that will solve the problem.

Same problem here. Lamp won't come on. Standby/On light blinks for 30-40 seconds, then lamp light flashes and projector goes to Standby. New bulb just installed. same problem. We replaced the bulb. Unit powers on with no light and then off again. Took it to repair shop who thought it was the ballast. When replacing that didn't work, they contacted Panasonic. Still waiting for our projector to be fixed. They have another unit with the same problem in their shop. Panasonic Tech Support told me they would contact their Repair shop.

Problem w/ OEM bulb, it causes a lot of issues from my experience. Your ballast might have gone bad, hopefully it's just that. Check the voltage output of the ballast, make sure you're getting the proper amount.
