Try to set the clock on my samsung MR1032BB microwave in my 2003 Georgie Boy Pursuit motorhome. It sets and then after 3 minutes it starts beeping and gives the numbers 8888 and 6666 and you can't reset or cancel. We have unplugged the unit for 20 seconds and then tried it again and it does the same thing. Any solutions or has there been a recall on these units?

Yes it is on recall and asks that you don't use it, as well as unplug unit if at all possible, and if not, leave door ajar and don't store anything in it.Here's a number to call at Samsung.

The first thing I would suggest is a hard reset. Unplug the unit for a minute or so. Then plug it back in, set the clock and try again.

Samsung microwave displays press 1-4...
The SE indicates a short in the keypad membrane, but to cure this! the whole keypad control board should be changed if effort to resolve is decided, I would also suggest checking the pricing.

Lock function reset for model JMV8208BAS
The first thing I would suggest is a hard reset. Unplug the unit for a minute or so. Then plug it back in, set the clock and try again.

If that doesn't work, leave it unplugged for about 5 minutes. Then let us know if the hard reset does not fix it.

To set the child lock.
Touch and hold
ENTER/START
pad more than 3
seconds. CHILD
LOCK ON will
appear in the display
window with two
beeps.

To cancel the child
lock.
Touch and hold
ENTER/START

will disappear and
you hear two beeps.

Setting clock on EM-G2567S
1. If you press the 'Delay Start' button, the time display will go blank.
2. Now enter the correct time, using the 'Minutes' buttons to set the hour, and the 'Seconds' buttons to set the minute.
3. Now press 'Clock'

Microwave oven will not work
Seems like I've answered this before, but the MR5493G is subject to a recall due to defective keypad (membrane switch) and can be seriously dangerous.
