That is a file associate with the My Web Search malware. You need to run a spyware scan and get rid of that program, the sooner the better. Your virus scanner might pick it up, but I prefer Spybot Search & Destroy - it's free and still the best one available.
You can also remove the whole thing manually - http://www.pchell.com/support/mywebsearch.shtml

How did it ever work? You say that you updated the old one with the new one.You will fix your problem with our help, but before that, I need to know if the first one ever worked. The reason is that in most of these cases with the pixels, there is no company that would be stupid to restrict themselves to only 1400 X 940. If you bought something without seeing it work, I have the ownership of a bridge in Brooklyn NY, I can sell it to you for a very good price. Now, all jokes aside, we are violating the rules... (1) I need the Name of your manufacturer or computer. This desk top Board, where did it go into? I need to know that. (2) I need the model name and number. (3) I need to have the ID of the mother board. If you a problem finding it we can help you! (4) I need to have your detailed information about what happened, before the upgrade, during the upgrade and after the upgrade. We make a mathematical model and then we duplicate your problem. Then we give you help to fix your problem. Now if you want to play the same game that someone else played yesterday, I really do have the title to the Brooklyn Bridge. Let us negotiate... On the more serious side I need the information I asked you above. Either give it to me, or stop wasting my time! I am a busy man in a hurry!
My name is Constantine (arzconst is my internal nickname with "fixya.com)
