How To Install Themes On Your iPhone Using iPhone Explorer

Has it been rooted?
The equivelent of a an ipad/iphone jailbreak?

You can check this by doing one of two things.
The first is by going into settings, scrolling down to the bottom and clicking on About Tablet.
If not that then go to Settings/Device and then click About Tablet.

The second, and easiest, is to check to see if you have an app called SuperUser (SU).
If you do then your device is rooted.

Other ways to check, which is more dificult because of you not being able to get WiFi access, is by downloading an app called Root Checker or a Terminal app.
Root checker is self explanitory as it does exactly what it says on the tin.
It will check to see if you have root access to your device and will tell you either way.
The terminal app will show a hash tag symbol (#) as soon as it is started.
This is also an indicator of root access.

Have a look in the WiFi/network settings for your device and see if it has been set up to use a proxy or VPN.
If it has then clear these settings and try to enable the WiFi again.
If this doesn't work then i would restore the device back to factory settings as it could be a software issue.
Failing that you could always upgrade the firmware to the new 4.4 KitKat which, if your device is rooted, will wipe root access out.

Are you entering the correct password?
There is a way to get your files if your iPod touch is jailbroken.
You can access the root folder by using iPhone Explorer or Winscp.
You have to have OpenSSH installed on your phone. You can download it in Cydia.
If your phone is not jailbroken, I believe you can just delete the application and then download it again.
No need to worry about the payment because when you buy an application in the App Store, you can download it as many times as you want provided you use the same account.

Make sure you root your phone and you can go to unrevoked.com and download the software to do so. After wards download a wifi app from the market place. Let me know how it goes...thanks hope this helps

The solution is to root the phone and then get to the corupt files and remove them. the phone will recreate the files and then the wifi will work. the unable to scan issue will be gone.

here are the steps.

1. First root the phone:to do this download the "GTS" (Galaxy S Tweaker) app from the android market place. Open the app and then run step one to install the the root access. the phone will restart.

2. After the restart download the android terminal app the name of the app is "Terminal Emulator"

3. Open the terminal app and then enter these commands.
- su (you will be prompted to give root access)
- cd /
- cd data
- cd wifi
- ls (you should see a file named "bcm_supp.conf"
- mv bcm_supp.conf bcm_supp.conf.bak

4. press the home key
5. power off the phone
6. power on the phone
7. enjoy your wifi again...
