The blowing wheel is loose and its making a loud
Hi, this is a dual shaft motor, or most are. I have seen them chip or come apart. If the chip is large enough, it will put stress on the motor bearings over time as it will be out of balance. Take all of the information from the unit, model, serial, and product number if it has one, and if you do have the wheel removed it may have a part number engraved on it. The place to start would be at a appliance parts house for retail appliance parts. If they don't have this blower wheel, most of the time they can locate one of the exact wheel, or one that will work in its place. If they can't get one they should be able to lead you in the right direction to find one, I know for a fact they can order it from the factory as I have done this. This is your best bet. I hope I have been of help to you on this, as I know it can be a pain at times to find a part, but this should do it. Check the bearings on the motor to see if they are worn enough to have this wheel hit something to chip it. It may just have had a weak spot on it. Keep me posted on your progress, and please rate me kindly as I am sure you will. I will be here if you need more help. If so, send me all of the numbers from this unit and the name also.
Sincerely,
