The CD rom is probably just a planetarium software. You can download free software here:
www.stellarium.org
The scope does not need computer software to operate. However, you will find the free software above very helpful in learning the sky. Color filters are really NOT very useful; only the moon filter is needed which you can buy from the retailer listed above.
Actual proprietary parts like the accessory tray must be bought directly from Galileo telescopes. But a hardware store will have springs and bolts and nuts.

This appears to be a reflector telescope on an ALT AZ mount. It does not need power to be used. You might be referring to a red dot lighted finder scope on top of the main tube, which does have a small watch battery inside. The battery is available at Wal Mart and many other places.

Two methods, but save data to computer before using:
Method 1:
Home screen-->Menu keys-->Settings-->Privacy-->Factory data reset-->Uncheck SD Erase-->touch Reset Phone-->touch Erase Everything
Method 2:
With tablet off, press and hold volume up-->With volume up held, press power button--> Release buttons when RCA appears-->When Android bot appears, press and hold both power button and volume up button-->When menu appears, use volume up and down to navigate to wipe data-->Press the power button-->Use volume up and down to navigate to Yes delete user data-->use power button to select that-->Press power button-->Upon reboot and seeing Welcome, choose your options-->Press Start when finished
