You need to reset the oven from auto to manual setting.
This is done by pressing 2 or more buttons on the timer at the same time to reset it, until you do this, the oven will not work

I assume you are fittimg the correct wattage bulb, and most importtantly fitting one that is able withstand at least 300c , if you are not, then this could be the reason for high bulb failure rate, also make sure that the bulb holder contacts are clean

you can either try to find it through the lil hole, or you will have to pull the range out, take off gthe bvack panel, and rethread the wire..
it stinks but it should be pretty easy,
note: I would definately get help with this, not a pro
but just someone to help you handle the range, you may not have to pull it all the way out let one corner stay on the shelf and ktty corner the unit, while someone kepps the machine balanced you make the reapir
