I have a 1999 sunfire and it turns over and at first starts but then cuts out and on the dash it says theft system i was if i could by pass that instead of bringing it to a mechanic

power thru the HVAC control module and the body control module. There are relays and fuses involved. The high speed relay bypasses the resistor. You may need a wiring diagram and a book to diagnose it
