speakers (or headphones) hooked up to the card? Are the speakers plugged in and turned on? (And are they plugged into the correct jack? You don't want to plug your speakers into your microphone jack!)

speakers and headphones are working fine. I am using Dell Inspiron 6400. The mic is external with a headset. HELP!!! Finally after few months of problem i managed to get my mic running in vista. First
