Kenwood KDC-CMP59FM 10-Disc CD Changer "sony mini player error" Questions

...a cd screen says mecha error i have a sony mini Hi-Fi Component System MHC-GX470. I comes on, the Radio and Tape deck plays well. the CD Player says "mecha Error" and hangs. CAN YOU PLEASE HELP
