Anyone know the freon capacity for a 2013 Toyota Highlander(Base Model) V6

The freon capacity for a 2013 Toyota Highlander with a V6 engine will depend on the type of refrigerant that the vehicle uses. The base model of the 2013 Toyota Highlander typically uses either R-134a or R-1234yf refrigerant. If your vehicle uses R-134a, the freon capacity is approximately 21.7 ounces or 630 grams. If your vehicle uses R-1234yf, the freon capacity is approximately 22.5 ounces or 640 grams. It is important to use the correct type and amount of refrigerant in your vehicle's air conditioning system to ensure that it functions properly. If you are unsure which type of refrigerant your vehicle uses or how much is required, it is recommended that you consult a Toyota dealership or a professional mechanic for assistance.

Freon capacitiesfor a 1990 Mercedes Benz 2.6 engine

Freon goes in the ac system and is adjusted to an operating system pressure for the gas in use. If you need to add gas then you have a leak so it would be a good idea to visit an accredited ac specialist shop to find and fix the leak and have the correct amount of gas added.

Grand vitara freon capacity

If the system is empty and you have pulled a vac, it holds around 2 lbs which is 2.5 cans. The high and low gauge pressures tell you when it is full.

What is the Freon capacity on my 2002 Saturn SC1. It has a 1.9 liters engine, 4 cylinders.

THE ACTUAL FREON CAPACITY IS UNIMPORTANT. WHAT IS IMPORTANT IS THE PRESSURES WHEN THE SYSTEM IS RUNNING. THE LOW SIDE SHOULD BE 25-35 PSI, THE HIGH SIDE APPROX 250 PSI. THE HIGHER THE AMBIENT TEMP, THE HIGHER THE HI SIDE PRESURE. USE PROPER TOOLS TO CORRECTLY EVACUATE AND CHARGE THE SYSTEM. AVOID OVERCHARGING AS TOO MUCH FREON IS WORSE THAN NOT ENOUGH.

How much freon does a 2004 ford f150 take

There should be a sticker on the compressor or accumulator telling you the freon capacity and oil requirement.
I would guess it would take about 48 oz or 4 cans if it is empty and you vac the system.

Recharge a/c i have r12 which valve do iuse black or red

line that goes to compressor is low side line out of compressor is high side
always fill on low side
also r12 hase been band for sevral years and should not be used
if this freon is r-12 conpatible or replacment then your fine
after leak been repaired and system pressurized and vacumed out
start engine put a/c to max blower motor to hi open windows
conect your fill bottle to low side open valve and system will start filling
when freon reach enougt pressure the compressor should start and draw in
the freon if it fails to start you could jump the low pressure swich to help draw in
freon when system has drawned its capacity shut off your bottle and disconect your line to fill
cap off the valve
if compressor fail to start you have another issus could be electrical
take CAUTION doing repairs to a/c system

Air condition freon refill

do you need to know where to fill it up or how much to put in the system. there is a sticker on the underside of the hood of on top of the radiator support to tell you what type of freon and what the capacity it will require.

Compressor will not engage

Look at the front of the ac compressor and have someone turn on the ac from inside the car. The front of the pulley(clutch) will spin when turned on.

If it does not spin, the low pressure switch (LPS) is not satisfied. Meaning there is not enough freon in the system to operate the system. Means low freon capicity because of a leak.

The LPS can be jumpered to cause the compressor to run (clutch to engaged) which will draw the freon in the system.

The LPS is usually a two wire sensor on the suction of the compressor. (between evaporator and compressor) Unplug the sensor and install a jumper, this will engage the clutch. Connect a new can of freon
and fill to system capacity.

The capacity of the ac system will be on a label under the hood, do not overfill. Probably about 2 lbs. Local parts stores (Auto Zone and Advance) will have freon with stop leak. This may help the leak. They also make a freon with a UV dye. I always add a single can with dye so that if stop leak does not work I can find the leak in the future.

The system should be filled until suction pressure is about 30 to 38 psi..
