Sounds like you have a bad ground somewhere on the frame.I know there is a ground on the frame just in front of the battery and one on left side under front of motor factory painted the frame and they just bolted up the wires need to clean paint off and retighten. might be the problem

SOURCE: vtx 1300s honda - starts sluggish - when it warms

When starting any engine, run engine until it will idle without the choke on, then ride.

Why will my 2003 dodge caravan will not even turn over, battery good, cables replace, may start today and not tomorrow

Take it to your local parts store and have them check the starter. They can do this without removing it. If your starters good then it has to be in your anti theft system but I would def begin with the stater. Quite often when they start to fail will do so intermitently.

2003 Honda VTX keeps blowing the fuel fuse when I make a sharp left or right hand turn or his a good bump in the road. What is causing this to happen

You have a short circuiting cable that are hitting or touching a metal part. Check all your wiring cables.
Good enough?

No start

I have the 2003 Honda Shadow 750 ACE and had a problem with the bike intermittently not wanting to start. All is good but when I hit the start button nothing would happen. Took it to the dealer and was about to pay them about $75 just to diagnose it when of the customers told me that the 2002-2003 Shadow line had came with a "sticky" clutch safety switch & starter button. First thing put the bike in neutral. If it starts, check that the (2)wires coming from the clutch lever are fully inserted(just push on them). If it still wont cut on, push the start button and "wiggle it" while pushed in. My problem came out to be the at the clutch safety switch. I removed the lever, pushed in the switch so that it popped out and sprayed the tiny hole on the side of the plastic switch with electric parts cleaner($3.00 @ the auto parts store for a 12oz. can). My bike hasn't had a problem since!
