First off, thank you for your service, secondly, yes you can find the manual on the Internet. It may take some time but you can always find it online. Also, if you were to email schwinn, I am willing to bet that they would send you one either via mail or email.
I got a new Schwinn for my son and we went out today for the first time. Within 10 minutes the right pedal came off in the street. Having the same problem. Did you ever find a solution?

if you take it to a tire shop they should be able to fix it. as it's not a huge tire... take the rim off... fill it with air and immerse it in water to find the leak
