When I go over a small bump or any change in the road, I hear a small but incessant squeek. I can not locate the noise but i assume it is coming from the suspension.l David

It is hard to find squeeks, It could be bushings, struts, tierods, balljoints, even engine and transmission mounts. The worst one I found after five other people they said was in the dash. vynil was dry and most everytime you hit a bump it would squeek. I sprayed it down heavily with armorall and cured the squeek. Good luck

While driving vehicle and riding over bumps in the road, I here loud squeeking sounds coming from the right tire area.

2 possibilities if the body mount bolts are loose on the cab you will here a noise on the inside. if ball joints or a frame bushings are bad you will hear a squeak noise also

Rr hear bumping noise and squeeking noise what is it. 1990 ford tarus 3.0 makes it sound like it's the rr window but I think maybe strut or strut ring? should I replace hole strut or is it the strut

that is a strut, the rubber is squeeking, but if its making a bumping noise you need to replace the strut and rubbers, that will take care of your problem.

When i drive my car on a bad road surface a rattking noise is coming from the front left wheel

Could be a ball joint, could be sway bar bushing. You need to check it out soon, a bad ball joint can cause the wheel to fall off. Typically a bad ball joint will squeek a little when you turn. Sway bar bushings are not so dangerous, they just make annoying noises over bumps.

I rock the vehicle by hand from the passenger side.I can hear a popping noise coming from behind the passenger wheel.would that be a sway bar end link, balljoints ??????????/

sway bar end links are most noticeable when hitting small bumps in rapid sucession but a ball joint will squeek just sitting there pushing on the car, try to grease them they may go quiet for a while but will eventually need replaced

Squeek noise on front wheels when hit bump

The problem could be caused by a wheel bearing squeeling or the cv joint squeeling.

Noise...driving over bumps...it sound like the front struts

If its a squeeking noise the rubber bushes on the shocks or the lower contol arm are worn out, if its a grinding noise it could be the shock itself. If it happens when you turn, a clucking noise might indicate a worn cv joint, or a worn wheel bearing. These are all things that need to be replaced by a professional mechanic, if you have the tools, the bushes might not be too hard to do yourself though. Hope this helps!

Thumping noise

Ball joints, motor mounts, sway bar link rods? Hard to say without actually hearing the noise, but an experienced Volvo tech should be able to diagnose this pretty quick.
