Raise the vehicle off the ground and support with jack stands(both front wheels off the ground), chock the wheels, buy and oil change drain pan and a oil filter strap wrench for that filter application(parts store will supply the proper wrench), have available a set of box wrenches 1/2"-3/4".
Purchase the proper replacement oil filter, and oil, be careful not to overfill the oil check the level after filling three quarts in crankcase, also only hand tighten the oil filter, and be sure the drain pan bolt has a gasket on it and it is tightened securely.
SOURCE: dodge radio
If you already checked the fuse, you need to check for power to the back of the radio. If power is present there you will need a new radio. Factory radios are expensive, the best bet is to get an aftermarket radio and install it.
SOURCE: 2001 Dodge Neon won't start. says "fuse"
check all you r fuses. There should be 2 sets, one under the hood and another in the passenger area(driver side under dash usually)
SOURCE: location of oil sending unit
its on the rear of the block, driver side, about halfway up --- behind and practically entangled with the harness.
A better question: How do you remove the connector?
SOURCE: what size socket do I need to change the oil and brakes.
The oil drain plug is a 13 mm. The tools for the brakes, a 10 mm socket for the caliper pins, a flat head screwdriver, or a meduim size prybat to get the calipers out of the mounting bracket, and a 4" C-clamp to compress the pistons into the calipers so you can put the new pads on.
SOURCE: I need a wiring diagramfor the stereo on a 2001 dodge neon
Sorry to say there isnt one available (if its the factory stereo)...the only diagrams available would be for the wiring in the up to the connector at the back of the radio
