Spluttering after 5000 revs wont pik up fitted with k and n and sport cans also once warm revs are high

If this has happened since fitting the K&N is most likely a jetting problem, try using the choke at 5000rpm if that helps go up a size in the main jets, if it gets worse go down a size. I cant remember if the 88 still had CV carbs, but air turbulance can cause the CV carbs to open erraticly as they are designed to **** from the air box which supplies air evenly to all carbs

2. Faulty regulator/rectifier or high output coil.

Why does my DT125 splutter at hight revs


Sounds like either the bike is starving for gas at higher RPM's, or you're hitting the rev limiter.

My 04 1.6 renault megane struggles to start in th morning and once it does fire up you hav to rev it to ensure it wont cut out. The car then splutters and judders a bit till its warm then it tend to run...

Throtle air control valve faulty.Get a new valve fitted.

When I start the engine from cold it runs on high revs too long


Hi ..... This sounds as if it's fitted with an automatic choke, as long as the revs drop when it's warm there is nothing to worry about. The indication when these start to go wrong is that the car won't start when cold ................ even then any decent mechanic can fit a normal/manual choke.
