Why red oil light flashed just once while hard braking

Low or thin oil will cause that to happen. There could also be an issue with the oil pickup tube in the oil pan.

It sounds like your brake rotors need to be replaced, they could be warped from overheating. This could be caused by applying the brakes too much while going downhill.

my younger brothers' truck did the same thing and there was a relay up under the dashboard that would get hot and shut of(kind of a circuit breaker unit) most of the operating systems will flash at you when only battery voltage is available which explains the lights coming on..these newer trucks also have a performance chip in the system that will act up when it gets warm also..replace this and you may be ok..let me know what happens also.. good luck.

Several places the transmission can leak, pan gasket is most common place with cooler line fittings being next most common.Clean all the fluid off with a can of brake clean you can buy at a parts store.Make sure engine is off first and that the transmission has been topped off so as better to produce a leak.After it is clean crank and let idle on level ground for 30 minutes then shut it off and get a flash light and see if you have a leak and follow it to the source(fluid runs downhill like water)If you have no leak let it set overnight and check in the morning.Good luck!

hi, all lights the first and important battery light this shows RED when the alternator NOT carging:
the oil light shows ORANGE LOW on oil:
the engine managment light shows when engine sensors detect faults shaped like an engine ORANGE light
head main beam BLUE when ON MAIN BEAM
indicator FLASHING GREEN light
hazard warning RED light
brake fluid low light RED looks like this ( )
brake handbrake ON RED light looks like this ( )
side light GREEN looks like a star
most of the important lights are RED or ORONGE gerry

Lights up blue when the Drive is powered on. Flashes red when reading or writing data. It was just stuck between color as it does not flash green,red-blue make green. Contact the company and see if it is under warranty, if not see if they will send you a new light, because
if it is not under warranty,it does not matter if you open it.

All that is inside is a hard drive, chip board. The light plugs onto the chip board same as a fan plugs onto a motherboard. I hope this helps you and it is under warranty,or at least they send you a new light if not.

Sounds like possiblity of the oil pump being bad, and is setting off other sensors on your car.

Ok the lightning bolt is your power indicator: solid green-charging, Flashing green-fully charged, flashing red-low battery, flashing red three times the once green-bad battery. the "trash can" looking one is your hard drive activity indicator it will flash while your hard drive is reading and writing.

If the sequence is 4 red, green, 4 red, green and so on- that's a code that indicates your battery is failing and is only providing less than 25% of its normal charge capacity.

That would mean your battery is basically dying and will probably keep headed downhill in a hurry. You should probably go ahead and start looking at getting a replacement.
