Have you tried holding the gas pedal down a little to see if it starts that way,if it starts then your throttle body/ IAC is dirty,if that didnt work, check for fuel pressure if you dont have a pressure guage you can un-clip the fuel line at the eng have a small plastic jug to catch the gas and have someone just turn the key to run ( not cranking it over) and see if a shot of fuel comes out of the fuel line, then have them crank it over and see how much gas comes out-if nothing or very little then you may have a plugged fuel filter or bad pump,or a bad fuel pump relay-if gas comes out, then it could be cam sensor or a crank sensor problem, assuming every thing else is good-you didnt say if the coil pack was new or used,or if you checked for spark, but a scan tool would give you a code for either the cam or the crank sensor or any other relavent code.A bad PCM will also stop the spark and the fuel,I hope this is helpfull

SOURCE: engine spins several times before starting

If the engine has to be turned over a number of times before starting it may be fuel pump related, more overly the check-valve within the fuel pump. If this has failed (or leaks back) the fuel system will need to come to pressure before the engine will start. I'd check your fuel line pressure when running you should see @ 40PSI or so; once shut down the system should hold pressure; if it drops off to zero then you know where the issues lyes.
I hope this may have helped.

SOURCE: Cannot find the coil pack on at Chrysler Cirrus

There is only one reason you would not find a coil pack on your cirrus is if it is a v6, which is built into the distributor. (VERY common problem is the distributor on those cars, well that and crankshaft sensors) Because on the 4cylinder it is on the top of the engine. The distributor is just to the left (towards passenger side) of the brake master cylinder/booster. Not a fun job but can be done without removing a lot. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: check engine light #4 miss fire replaced plug and

Spark Plugs never fail to fire,it would be a, once in a lifetime, if you find one.
You never change any part, without knowing what it does, and how to test it
So will it could be anything in the ignition system, I suggest you save your money on parts, and just have it repaired.
No one without the vehicle can guess at the issues your having.
If you perform a specific test and need help to evaluate the results, then get back here

SOURCE: i have a 2000 lhs.

Sounds like your distributor is bad, but first check your distributor and rotor to see if that's the problem, if not then i would say its the distributor.

2003 Hyundai sonata why it won't start? I've replaced al my spark plugs a coil packet for the 5th cylinder and the battery

no country told why do that? lots of engines used

P0305 DTC error?
that error means weak combustion #5 and lots of causes, not just spark plug 5.
replacing any 6 cylinder coil pack wrong gets the firing order now wrong, replace HV x6 wires 1 by 1 never
ever all at once, OOPS?

it has 3 dual coils on one bracket and must be wired in proper firing order or it will NEVER RUN.
Security lamp (angry)

IMMO can not be failing the lamp security (or will not get fueling to run)!!! ever. never have just 1 key or land HERE X. (doa)
USA answer V6 engine.
it had 2 engine options new. USA.2003
2.5 L Delta V6
2.7 L Delta V6 bingo for USA.
2.7L (G6BA) real name ! 305 means and in proper order this
  1. compression is bad on #5
  2. spark is bad on #5
  3. or injection rates #5 are dead or wrong mix
order is because
cant burn fuel on any dead engine,"compression test)
cant burn fuel if spark is dead
and last , if fuel rates are wrong so be weak combustion #5

also if car could run and drive far P0300 may pop up
because you never ever replace the cam belt.
all Hyundai engine are interferance and if belt not serviced the engine blows up, the head valves bend and even 10x worse, we can show photos of the destruction on this engine all day long, never serving the cam belt at 60- to 100k miles USA mile ok
if not here say so and we can k meters all day long.

step 1 is always keep battery charged, or electronics go wacky or asleep as the service manual says page 1.
the tool is a battery charger.

I have a scag tiger cat stc52c-22fx and spark plugs with no spark

no engine of 3 told, KWAWaSKi , briggs or Kohler
22FX means .Kawasaki FX691V , bingo
this a lawnmower/ sure and is no car. or truck
sure
and like all lawnmowers that are huge.
they have 5 more more interlocks to keep engine dead.
here I will try to list some.
1; in gear, lockout.
2: blades activated lockout.
3: seat switch open no person seated. (lockout)
4: low oil pressure cranked, lockout.
5: cooling open lockout.
6: clutch engaged lockout.
7: brakes not locked. (to start)
or as you lost service manual shows. schematics will tell that that . for sure.
fuses blown?
connectors loose or fell off
keyswitch bad

spark magneto dead.
the answer is here,

the engine uses magneto to make spark and is defeated by engine connector black wire. jump to ground.
black wires on engine are coil wires spark and most not be grounded out, via safety switches.
the 12vdc does not produce spark at all. only he mag. does.
the carb has cut fuel wire green/white

P1665 and 1667 on my 98 LeSabre replace the purge valve solenoid still getting the codes

You need 3 thing to get an engine to start. Fuel, air and spark. remove any one and you get a No Start.
No start even with starter fluid suggests there is no spark to ignite the fluid. Try going back to basics. Check the silly, obvious stuff first. Yes, I've been caught out by these,
Is the battery fully charged? is the air filter clean? Is there fuel in the tank? Have you checked for spark at the actual spark plugs?
When you crank the engine what exactly does it do? This will give clues as to the cause. If it just turns as it cranks suggests no spark, Trying to start but not running suggests fuel supply.
- Check you have spark all the way from the spark plug to the coil pack and power to the coil pack itself.
- Is there fuel getting to the cylinders?
- Is the air intake system clear and not blocked.

I hear the engine trying to start, but it won't, even though there's good electric power, but with a little push you can start it using the clutch, any idea?, maybe a relay?, what do you think?....

If the battery is not spinning the motor fast enough, it is not uncommon for motor to not start. Make sure that your starter motor is spinning engine over at correct speed.

OR, it is possible that the starter motor has some burnt windings resulting in less rotational speed.

Engine starts when you pop the clutch, so why won't it start when u use the starter? Check it out.

Initial start up the engine sounds like its running on 2 cylinders under powered intil the temp gauge reads normal ???? any body got the answer please

Cold starting misfires can often be caused by either tired high tension spark plug leads or ignition coil packs. If replacing leads, then replace with a full, new set. Coils can be changed individually, but it is often the case that if one has failed, then the others aren't far behind. Some cars have individual coil packs on each spark plug. Some cars have a single pack for all plugs and some have coil packs which may control two or more plugs.

To check for a misfire (ignition failure) follow these steps:

(Cold start) (Use a pair of insulated pliers)

1) Start the vehicle

2) When the vehicle starts misfiring, disconnect plug leads or coil pack connections one at a time. If the vehicle idles even more roughly, then that plug or pack should be considered fine.
Replug each connection before disconnecting the next one. Once you disconnect a plug lead or coil pack connection and find no difference in poor engine running, then you have likely found the offending cylinder. Check the spark plug condition, lead and/or coil condition and connections on that cylinder.

3) Replace components as necessary.

Jeep grand cherokee crankshaft position sensor replaced but still given a weak spark

the coil. ? older post.
the PCM reports even one drop out of 10 , on the CKP or CMP sensors. 99.9% of these changed are good.
why not tell me what you have,? full symptoms and evidence.
got P030x misfiring? are you even using a scan tool,? or working blind.
may be its the coil.?
can can you feel the misfiring.c
can you see the engine shake? all of this is evidence.
do not miss out on that.
does the scan too shop pending misfire codes?
stored codes, or codes while driving, learn to use the scan tool.
do a 60k mile tune up yet?
your engine is not COP coils like the V8
its COIL rail that is a COIL pack with 3 coils inside
that runs 2 sparks each called WASTED park.
so did you try new sparkplugs(dah)first then new coil pack wires HV
next , then a new coil pack last.
start with the cheap spark plug and wires, (called a tuneup)
then pop for coil pack./
misfire can be clogged or leaking injectors too, and that ill skip
with out you using the scan tool fully.

No electrical power to engine

check you fuses and clean your battery terminals, you might have a relay that controls you ignition. or could be your coil pack.

Non starter

try replacing starter motor.
Repeatedly cranking it over only heats the the starter motor , this then softens the solder and it gets thrown, then the starter requires more power from the battery leaving insufficient for the coil pack.
Push starting give the power to the coil pack .. and the engine runs
