I have a white screen at start up of my brand new laptop. what should i do? go back to the store? or do I have to wait till the battery is fully charged?

Have you installed the Lenovo EnergyCut drivers? Without it, laptop may not work properly and turns extra hot. Try letting it cool down before you try again.

The flex of your laptop is what is giving you that white screen
The flex connects the screen to the motherboard of the laptop the more you open and close the laptop, the flex gets weaker
The solution is to get a repairer to change the flex for you,that will solve the white screen

The battery might be nearing the end of it's useful life and needs to be replaced. The battery only lasts for so long then it has to be replaced.
Buy a battery on ebay base on your computer's Make and model, not the model of the battery.
