I am putting headers on my 1996 z28 camaro lt1 v8 and when i went to remove the right exhaust manifold i discovered that the egr pipe is mounted to it, what can i do or with the egr pipe? do i drill a hole and and mount it to the header or what?
You will need to have a bung welded into the header so you can hook it back up.

not at all,because the 4 into 1, the 1 has a larger bore for greater exhaust flow.(look at any race car they are all 4 into 1.....)

It depends on what state your in, but there are lots of companys that make headers that are 50 state legal. If you are in CA just make sure it says that it specifically states CA legal. CA is the toughest state on smog so some headers are made just for CA smog legal. Or just pick your favorite and pay someone 100 bucks to pass you. Here is an example. As long as it doesnt eliminate your cats. You can also run like High Flow Magnaflow Cats. Those will pass smog in all 50 states.
