It`s ALREADY de-restricted!!! Restriction is only for keeping the 50cc models in the Moped category so some people whould not need an endorsement and not exceed 30mph,

HI, I was asked by someone if the Kymco S 200 has an alternator? Does it have one? Is there anything that can charge the battery, when not in use? Thank you Sincerely, John

Yes you can charge the battery with a battery tender, or battery charger, when the bike is sitting.

Your People S 200 requires a 12 v, 6Ah battery.

Fully charged will have 13.1 Volts
Undercharged 12.3 Volts

Most battery tenders use low amps to charge and wont overcharge your battery. It just maintains it at 12.5 Volts.
If you use a battery charger, be sure you monitor it regulary, as some models don't shut off.
