Question about 2001 GMC Jimmy
I have a 2001 gmc jimmy and im having major fuel problems and need help bad. so my car is running really rich smells like gas bad getting horriable fuel eco its hard to start as well idles rough as hell too. ive ran a test and got two error codes . right bank 1 too rich and right bank 2 too rich., had a buddy tell me it could be the fuel pressure reg. now i have no idea how to replace this part and cant find it to begin with either. I NEED HELP. THANK YOU
The ......fuel pressure regulator is on the fuel rail near the rear of the intake manifold it is round in shap. i would first check to see if you have a problem with your O2 sensors. also i would have the TPS sensor checked. the TPS is what controls your idle. it is located on the throttle body is black in color and has a weatherproof plug to it. please rate this.........thanks
