LEFT FRONT WINDOW WILL NOT GO UP \r\nHOW O GET THE DOOR PANEL OFF

Being an audi you would probably want a specialist to look at that for you but my guess is that the window regulator has either jammed or malfunctioned to the point that the window cannot open - it may be a fuse but generally one fuse operates all windows so if other windows are working im more likely to think its the regulator in the left door behind door panel

It says the tachometer wire is Yellow/Green, you do not have that listed. You will find it in the list below, it is highlighted..

Remove the inner door panel & replace
the broken window regulator

Switch over motor to new one

No voltage to switch?

1. Remove the front door trim panel.
   

1. Position aside the front door watershield to gain access to the exterior rear view mirror control switch electrical connector.

4.Disconnect the exterior rear view mirror control switch electrical connector

as you see you have to remove the door panel to have access to the electrical connector in case that you dont know how to do it here are the instructions

NOTE: Left front door trim panel shown, right front door trim panel similar.

1. Remove the sail panel.
   
   • If equipped, disconnect the electrical connector
   
   
2. If equipped, lift up and remove the exterior rear view mirror control switch panel.
   • Disconnect the electrical connector.

1. If equipped, lift up and remove the window control switch panel.
   • Disconnect the electrical connector.

1. If equipped, remove the window regulator handle.
   1. Position the window regulator handle cover aside.
   1. Remove the window regulator handle screw and regulator handle

5.Remove the door trim panel center screw cover
6.Remove the 2 door trim panel center screws
7.Remove the 2 door trim panel lower screws

1. NOTICE: Do not pull directly outward on front door trim panel as damage will occur.
   Remove the front door trim panel.
   • Lift upward to remove the front door trim panel.

1. NOTICE: Insert the lower panel tabs first or they can break when installing the front door trim panel.
   To install, reverse the removal procedure

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION Trim Panel —Front Door, Expedition Removal

1. NOTE: Release the top portion first.
   Remove the sail panel.

1. Remove the window regulator switch plate (14524).

1. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

1. Remove the upper door trim panel screw.

1. Remove the door trim panel screw at the window regulator switch plate opening.

1. Remove the door trim panel screw in the courtesy lamp housing.
   1. Remove the courtesy lamp lens.
   1. Remove the screw.

1. Remove the inside door handle trim cover.

1. Remove the inside door handle.
   • Remove the bolt.

1. CAUTION: To avoid damage to the front door trim panel, do not pull directly outward.
   Lift upward and then outward to remove the front door trim panel (23943).

1. Remove the courtesy lamp and socket.

1. Disconnect the power mirror electrical connector.

Installation

1. Connect the power mirror electrical connector.

1. Install the courtesy lamp and socket.

1. Install the front door trim panel.

1. Install the inside door handle.
   • Install the bolt.

1. Install the inside door handle trim cover.

1. Install the door trim panel screw in the courtesy lamp housing.
   1. Install the screw.
   1. Install the courtesy lamp lens.

1. Install the door trim panel screw at the window regulator switch plate opening.

1. Install the upper door trim panel screw.

1. Connect the electrical connectors.

1. NOTE: If a new trim panel is required: Some new trim panels have a cut out opening for the window switchplate that is larger than that on the original trim panel. When installing a new trim panel, install the window switchplate in the following sequence to make sure that the switchplate is secured fully into the door trim panel.
   Install the window regulator switchplate.
   • Insert the rear switchplate clip into the trim panel opening.
   • Install the forward and side clips into the trim panel opening.

1. NOTE: Install the lower portion first.
   Install the sail panel.

Front Door Trim Panel Removal and Installation
NOTE: Left front door trim panel shown, right front door trim panel similar.

1. Remove the exterior mirror mounting hole cover.

1. If equipped, remove the window regulator handle.
   1. Position the window regulator handle cover aside.
   1. Remove the window regulator handle screw and regulator handle.

1. If equipped, remove the window control switch plate.
   • Disconnect the window control switch electrical connectors and if equipped, the memory set switch electrical connector.

1. If equipped, remove the front door trim panel reflector or the courtesy lamp lens.

1. Remove the screws.

1. CAUTION: Do not pull directly outward on front door trim panel, as damage will occur.
   NOTE: Remove the front door trim panel by pulling it straight upward.
   Lift and remove the front door trim panel.

1. If equipped, twist the courtesy lamp connector one half turn and remove it from the front door trim panel.

1. CAUTION: Insert the lower panel tabs first or they can break when installing the front door trim panel.
   To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Front Door

1. Remove the door trim panel.
   
2. Remove the water dam.
   
3. Remove the inner and outer door belt weatherstrips.
   
4. Lower the window to the full down position and align the glass regulator arm with the access holes in the inner door panel.
   
5. Remove the front glass run channel.
   
6. Remove the nuts attaching the glass channel to regulator arm.
   
7. Separate the glass and lift it up and out.
   
8. Disengage the power window motor wire connector from the door harness, if equipped.
   
9. Loosen the bolts in slotted holes attaching regulator to door inner panel.
   
10. Remove the bolts attaching window regulator to inner door panel.
    
11. Remove the regulator through the access hole in the inner door panel.
    
12. Installation is the reverse of removal. Tighten the nuts attaching the glass to the lift plate to 7 ft. lbs. (9 Nm).

FOLLOW THIS CLOSELY...STARE AT A LITE DOME LIGHT USUALLY WITH DOOR OPEN...WHEN YOU PRESS WINDOW SWITCH, IF THERE IS ANY DIMING OF DOME LIGHT....MOTOR IS BAD. IF DOME LIGHT STAYS THE SAME BRIGHTNESS... SWITCH IS BAD... EXCEPT IN THE CASE SOME HACKER HAS BEEN IN THE DOOR PANEL BEFORE ...IT DOES TAKE A SPECIAL TALENT TO REMOVE DOOR PANELS WITHOUT BREAKING THINGS AND EVEN MORE TALENT TO REPLACE WINDOW REGULATORS

are you a techie? You need a heavy duty riveter to do this repair. May have to rent or borrow from auto store.

1. Position the door window glass halfway down to gain access to the door window glass rivets.
   • Remove the rivets.

Item 5: Front Door Window Regulator Removal Note

1. Disconnect the electrical connector.

1. WARNING: Prior to power window motor removal, make sure the regulator arms are in a fixed position to prevent counterbalance spring unwind. Failure to place the regulator arms in a fixed position can cause the spring to suddenly release resulting in personal injury.
   NOTE: The counterbalance spring assists the window in the upward direction.
   Remove the bolts and the window regulator motor.

1. Using the special tool, install the rivets.
