I can not start engine in yaris 99, fuse EFI is broken,changeing do not help,it is back broken

the PCM must want to engerze the FP relay and not scanning the PCM you will never know why

ign fuse. not blown and C/OPN relay
and EFI relay not dead
and EFI fuse to that not blown. why not check all fuses? 1st the scan the pcm.

the EFI works just like that, if ECU sees no spark it cuts fuel fully./
to end crash and burn as seen on TV and by laws here USA
My 2009 1kr Toyota Yaris we check all fuses first (a test)
then we scan the PCM using a scan tool. eg: omg CKP sensor or CMP sensor is dead ,. if seen.
have a shop fix this or buy the tools and learn how.

chain drive cams, so I guess they didn;t scream for help just before it died right (chain thrashing/)
this engine has 4 COP coils, are all 4 dead? the classic test?
or just 1, all 4 must spark , not JUST 1, see my drift?
if all are dead and fuses all good
the scan tool tells you why,
P03xx errors. 1 for cmp or 1 for ckp deathh
ckp crank sensor wires fell off or got heat by road hazards.
CMP is on cam end. not lose.

Not sure there is a "fuel pump" relay ... compared to several electronic fuel injection (EFI) fuses in the engine compartment fuse/relay box (probably on driver side depending on your model and engine type). The link should be helpful ... but also there is usually a diagram with fuse/relay information on the underside of the cover of the box.

Toyota has two fuse boxes regardless of make. One is in the engine compartment, and the other is normally near the foot well of the driver side door.

I would suspect the fuel pump would be in the engine compartment box.

It may also be your EFI relay that may be faulty.

Fuse box is behind the left headlight. Refer to the cover for the fuse location.

EFI (electronic fuel injection) is a nasty fuse to blow. Unplug EFI module for 5 minutes. Plug it back in and try to start it immediately to confirm a heating short or possible bad module.

You need to look for a short in the engine harness, anywhere that the harness rubs on engine componets etc. In the past 30 years of car work this is where the problem most often occurs.

I have a 1993 toyota camry , when it start it , it runs for about 2minutes and shuts off,can u help me with that problem.

if it is the engine malfunction light your asking about (orange light)it can only be canceled by the main dealer or by removing the efi fuse (located in fuse box on rh side of engine bay near the battery) for 60 seconds while car is not running,light may come back on again if a fault reoccurs
