Im buying a 1999 nissan maxima it did not come with a keyless entry lock remote i never had this kind of a car so i did not know it needed one i noticed the alarm was beeping before i started it but stopped after i guess i did not check the car over good enough before getting it it takes a few times trying to start it before it starts and noticed the key i have to start it does not lock the doors can i by pass the alarm.?
Have you checked that the brake lamps work, if not then check the fuse. The shift lock is actuated by a lock lever in a motor, that is in the same system as the brake lamps. So, you can check the fuse and/or the brake lamp switch. Hope that helps
that has four wheel anti lock so your gonna need to either take all them off and clean ends it may correct the problem but more than likely your gonna have to take to a large shop that has abs computer to find which sensor is bad then correct the problem
