What causes high full consuption and what can be done to reduce fuel consuption in a isuzu KB 220 car

You can overinflate your tires by a few psi over standard, not use AC, avoid stop and go driving and jack rabbit starts, remove unnecessary heavy objects from car, keep max speed around 55, proper oil level, no brakes dragging, anticipate stops and let off gas, etc.

Why does my truck move slow in the morning and when sit for a time and then picks up speed after. Then idle jumps around at1500 rpms up and down then it settles.

Does the engine rev up when you press on the gas or bog down?
Do you smell a funny smell when the truck is running?

Wont start after driving..

first see if its got a check engine light if it does that could be the answer to the problem. next if you mean you put the car in gear and rev the engine and it goes nowhere than the trans is either bad or the shift sensor is. i doubt its the coolant temp sensor a good test would be to just let the car idle for a half hour and see if the radiator fans come on. but like i said check the engine light first.

Please let me know at what speed should i shift gears to get the best fuel consumption in my toyota corolla AE110

it's nothing to do with speed, you have to shift with engine revs, get used to the engine noise, it will tell you by itself when it wants to shift, to help you when it's sounds straining from high revs that is bad, but don't shift when revs are too low either, usually is between 2.5k or 3k that is the best but cars differ from one another so it's about trial and error.

1999 toyota 4runner, 140K miles: for 2 weeks, have problem starting when cold in morning. takes 3-4 clicks and foot on gas pedal to start. now also problem starting when warm after driving for 30mins....

Sounds like a sticky throttle if you can't keep idle. It won't hurt to try.... you can try a quick cheap trick by spraying a little carbon remover (buy at any auto store i.e. autozone, oreiley's) inside the throttle, open the valve, spray just small amount, close it back up and rev it a few times and repeat. It removes the carbon film after long use. fixed my idle issue in my cars. If its really bad you might have to clean it thoroughly but i highly doubt you have to do that.

I have a 1990 Toyota 4 Runner. It idles rough, sprays too much fuel, and can't rev up. I installed new plugs, plug wires, and cap and rotors, even switched the computer mas airflow sensor and distributor...

Couple of thoughts if you are sure it is spraying to much gas... Have you checked the fuel pressure? If the regulator it bad, pressure may be to high, that would cause it to run rich/spray to much gas. Sometimes a bad temp sensor can cause it also, if computer thinks a hot engine is cold due to bad sensor, it will run rich. Way outside the box is... have you checked Alternator voltage? With engine running, check voltage at Battery, it should not be much over 14.5, if it is way high, it screws everything up. I have never seen a TPS cause the problem.

Honda Civic 1.6 vtech Inspire 03 with poor fuel consumption

this car is fitted with a computer controlled engine/gearbox it will try to make you drive as economically as poss, if you let it,Try this, without using the gas padal let the car accelerate all the way to top gear on its own then from stop use 1/3rd of gas pedal upto top gear, try not to assist acceleration let it do its own thing.if you can drive like this all the time gas mileage will be considerably higher.it is made this way because makers have been told to reduce power/gas consumption in all cars....of course you can use kickdown but watch your fuel guage....

Engine iddle speed need adjusting

You cant adjust it. Your car has a tps sensor " throttle position sensor " and a iac idle air control. these are both on the throttle body. is the check engine light on? The best way to check them is on a scanner at places like auto zone they will let you use one for free. and will help you do it. first check the codes if any then look at live data scroll down till you see tps and look at its values rev the motor up and it should change values are 0% to 100% no throttle to full throttle. at idle it should be 18 to 26 or so. if it doesnt change or its at a high number and no gas is being given then its bad. also look at the iac and see if it changes as well. you can also google the resistence values for each and ohm them out. It does sound like a bad tps. try that first , and the tps is easy to change
