I have a 2009 dodge avenger that the front passenger window goes down but it doesnt go back up. I checked power at the motor & had power going both up & down. I thought it was the motor but I removed the motor & hooked it up & it works when you push the button down but when you pull it up to go up it doesnt work.

It may be a bad Power Window Switch, if the Power Window Motor goes up and down when you ran power leads to it but doesn't work with the switch, than the switch is bad. Replace the power window switch and it should work fine.

Your power window module may have gone bad. Check the fuses first and see if that may be the cause. Otherwise you may have to replace the window motor.

did your window drop down or when you put it down it doesnt go up any more if it droped down its your window regulater needs to be changed if you put it down and it doesnt go up any more your switch or motor on the regulater doesnt operate

ground problem mine has this problem also has no ground in up position will go down fine . I have jump ground in up position.
